Chicken fried rice is a really delightful and aromatic recipe prepared with a combination of light spices and healthy ingredients. It contains more fiber, protein, and vitamins which can provide you with enough energy. Vegetables give a suitable combination with rice and chicken in this recipe and bring pleasure to you. This recipe can be prepared in 25 to 30 minutes. This means you don’t need to spend too much time in the kitchen, just cut vegetables, do a little more preparation and start cooking your food.   1. Whole grain basmati rice: 2 cups (boiled with some salt)
  2. Chicken: ½ kg (boneless cut into medium cubes)
  3. Boiled peas: ½ cup
  4. Carrot: ½ cup (cubed in small chunks)
  5. Cabbage: chopped 1/5 cup
  6. green capsicum: as required
  7. yellow capsicum: as required
  8. tomatoes: 2 chopped
  9. onion: 1 sliced
  10. coriander leaves: ½ cup chopped
  11. ginger garlic paste: 1tsp
  12. salt: as required
  13. black pepper powder: 1 tsp
  14. soy sauce:  2 tbsp
  15. vinegar: 2 tbsp
  16. spring onion: chopped (green part only)


  1. Heat oil in a skillet, and fry chicken until light brown in color.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till a nice aroma comes.
  3. Add all vegetables and sauté for 5 minutes on medium-low flame. Make sure vegetables are half or 75% tender.
  4. Add tomatoes, onion, and sauté for a while.
  5. Add vinegar, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper powder, and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the boiled rice and mix well till the rice become nice golden colored.
  7. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes by covering with the lid.
  8. Garnish with salad and serve with raita. You will really like the delicious recipe.
