  1. Lamb meat: 1kg boiled
  2. Salt: as required
  3. Basmati rice: 1kg soaked
  4. Tomatoes: 2-3 chopped
  5. Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp
  6. Green chilies: 5-6
  7. Green cardamoms: 2
  8. Black cardamoms: 2
  9. Cloves: 5-6
  10. Cinnamon stick: 1 large
  11. Black peppercorns: 8-10
  12. Hot spices powder: 1 tsp
  13. Coriander powder: 1tsp
  14. Cumin powder: 1 tsp
  15. Onion: 1 large thinly sliced
  16. Coriander leaves: chopped
  17. Salad: for serving
  18. Raita: for serving

  1. First of all, we have to wash the meat thoroughly and boil it with some salt and ginger garlic paste until it is tenderized well
  2. Fry onion in a large skillet until turning brown in color, add ginger garlic paste, and fry a while.
  3. Add boiled meat and fry for 5 minutes then add tomatoes, green chilis, all whole spices, salt, chili powder, turmeric powder, hot spices powder, cumin, and coriander powder, and fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Add 8 cups of water and bring to a boil.
  5. Now add washed and drained rice to it and keep on cooking on high flame.
  6. When water evaporates and rice seems dry, turn the stove to slow and simmer for 8-10 minutes covered with a skillet.
  7. Serve hot and delicious Lamb pulao with raita and salad.
